Family Health International (FHI) is dedicated to improving lives, knowledge, and understanding worldwide through a highly diversified program of research, education, and services in HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment, reproductive health, and infectious diseases. We are seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Associate Director, Finance (Nigeria)
To support the Director Shared Services to assume main management responsibility for both accounting and finance for the Nigeria Office and ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of Nigeria's USAID bi-lateral program with the objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles. S/He is expected to assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and coordination of project activities. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance and Business Administration or
its recognized equivalent and minimum 9 years experience in accounting related to NGOs and community level programs with increasing responsibility. Familiarity with USAID-funded programs and Nigerian non-governmental organization. CPA, ACA, ICAN, MBA or recognized equivalent a plus.

Associate Director, Contracts and Grants (Nigeria)
Provide leadership, management for Contracts & Grants, Procurement, Travel, and Facilities with technical expertise for Contracts & Grants.
Main responsibilities include: Assist Director in development, management, implementation and evaluation of appropriate systems, projects, services, staff and budgets; Assist Director in development and evaluation of unit/division/departmental goals and/or objectives, proposals, reports, etc., as it relates to organization's strategic plan and priorities; Lead and/or participate in assessment and design team activities; Manage domestic and international procurement operations of the organization (in accordance with FHI and USAID policy); Contribute as lead for sourcing initiatives and supplier relationship management; Provide overall corporate management, guidance and coordination of contract and grant activities, including oversight management and control of grant staff as well as contract negotiation, reporting and monitoring of implementing agencies; Support the success of FHI/Nigeria's services by translating the organization's operational plan into contracting and procurement polices and systems to actualize the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives; Perform other related duties as assigned. BS/BA in related field, and a minimum of 9 years relevant experience with international development programs; or MS/MA in related field, and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience with international development programs.

Associate Director, National Programs (Nigeria)
Provide support to and coordinate of the work of the FHI/Nigeria national office. Lead program planning, design, review, and monitor of the implemented at the national level. Master's degree in Public Health or related field, with at least 10 years working experience in managing program at the country/national level. At least 5 years experience with HIV/AIDS program planning and implementation at national level. Working with public and NGO sectors required.

Associate Director, Operations and Management (Ethiopia)
The Associate Director for Operations & Management will work closely with the Country Director to manage the portfolio of pubic health and research projects in FHI/Ethiopia, with specific responsibilities in overseeing the Special Business Unit (SBU). The AD will lead and coordinate the operational units of the country office that support project implementation, including finance and the SBU, Administration
and Human Resource, Organizational Development/Contracts and Grants, and contribute to overall project management, proposal development, reporting and communications with donors, local partners and stakeholders, and FHI/Regional/US. The Associate Director will work closely with the technical teams within the country office to administer operational support to ongoing and new projects; facilitate work plan and financial monitoring; and assist to document project process, results, and lessons learned. BA/BA in business management or related field, with a minimum 9 years of relevant management and supervisory experience; or MA/MBA with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience; experience in financial management of USAID and other donor funded contracts required; at least 3 years experience in program management, including administration, human resource management, financial management and reporting.

Associate Director, ROADS (Sudan)
The incumbent will be responsible for managing HIV/AIDS programming in Southern Sudan under the international donor-funded ROADS Project. The position will be based in Juba, Southern Sudan but will report to the ROADS headquarters office in Nairobi. Main responsibilities: Responsible for managing current FHI ROADS HIV/AIDS programs in Southern Sudan; Acts as liaison with relevant private and public agencies, organizations, National AIDS Control Program, USAID, and other donors; Manages the development of country plans, their periodic review and revision; Manages the design of subproject activities; Manages country office staffing levels and supervises country office staff; Ensures appropriate monitoring of subprojects to achieve financial, administrative, and programmatic goals; Ensures production of timely and accurate financial and substantive reports to FHI, USAID and other donors as required.
Requires Masters of doctoral level degree in social science, public health or related field, and at least seven years experience managing large international development projects to include at least five years of senior level project management experience. Good cross-cultural skills.

Associate Director, Contracts and Grants (Kenya)
Provide leadership in Contracts & Grants Management for FHI's Africa
Regional Office; Manage the administration of legal relationships and
regulatory affairs with donors and implementing agencies/partners;
Interpretation of regulations and manage compliance; will be responsible
for standardization of C&G business practice across the regional; and
also provide technical input to the new system (GFAS) roll-out to
address C&G needs under the Award Management Module. BS/BA in Business
Administration, Accounting or related field, and 9 - 11 years relevant
experience in a business setting; or MS/MA/MBA with 7 - 9 years relevant
experience in a business setting.

Project Director, TB Control Assistance Program (Cambodia)
Provides management oversight and technical direction to the Tuberculosis Control Assistance Program (TBCAP) in Cambodia, including work plan development and implementation, budget development and oversight; represents project with donor and national government. Main responsibilities include: Overall leadership, management and monitoring of TBCAP implementation in Cambodia; Serves as primary liaison between the TBCAP and USAID/Cambodia, the National TB Program and the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STD, related government bodies as well as local, non-governmental partners; Coordinate with in-country main TBCAP partners; Provide technical expertise to the National TB Program manager in strategic vision and planning of TB intervention; Supervise and coordinate activities of project staff and consultants.
Medical doctor or PhD with 5-10 years experience in management of public health programs and a minimum of 5 years experience in TB control and/or HIV/AIDS; additional public health degree a plus. Knowledge and expertise in TB/HIV preferred.
